Great success and graduate students of the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering completed National Exhibition of Scientific and Technical Creativity of Youth STCY.
   For 4 days in the pavilion 57 VVC demonstrated their development young (aged 12 to 27 years old) talents in various fields of science and technology: mathematics and computer science; medicine and biology, ecology and earth science, astronomy and space; technosphere , machinery and technologies; Architecture and Construction; social sciences. The exhibition was attended by 810 representatives of students, pupils, schools, institutions of further education from 56 cities. Was presented 472 projects from 42 regions of Russia, including from the Chechen Republic.
   Movement of scientific and technical creativity of youth born in the Soviet times in the mid-sixties of the last century. In 1960 - 1980 years of the Soviet Union throughout the scientific and technical creativity involved in more than 20 million people: it involved more than 2.5 million students, 60,000 worked circles of technical creativity in vocational schools, about one million children were engaged in 450 scientific societies of students, there were more than 400 clubs for young sailors, airmen, pilots, astronauts, 140,000 circles of young technicians, biologists - in palaces and homes of the pioneers, more than 2500 stations for young technicians and naturalists. The Montreal pavilion ENEA (now VVC) worked a permanent exhibition of scientific and technical creativity of youth.
   With the collapse of the Soviet Union and the country`s transition to new economic movement rails STCY halt. Resumption of the show STCY contributed VVC initiative supported by the Government of Moscow and of the International scientific and technical leisure (MILSET). Their jointly held May Festival "STCY", which was attended by more than 2,000 young professionals, students and pupils. At the festival was visited by many guests. Participated in it and the organizers of scientific and technical creativity of youth from Europe, Asia and Africa led by the president of the International scientific and technical leisure Jean-Claude Guiraudon from France. Projects were presented to the winners at the international exhibition "Expo-Science" in Grenoble, France.
   Exhibition STCY gathered not only Russian representatives, but also young scientists and inventors from CIS countries. The following year the Russian movement STCY was presented at the World Exhibition of youth research projects "Expo-Science", held in Moscow under the auspices of UNESCO. Representatives of 87 Russian regions and 88 countries presented their projects at the Exhibition Centre.
   On motion STCY all pay more attention to public and state organizations. So, along with the Government of Moscow and OAO "GAO" VVC "organizer of the exhibition became STCY Council of Rectors of Moscow and the Moscow region, and members of the Scientific Committee of the exhibition included 8 academicians, 29 professors, doctors of them 25 people, PhD - 28 people of them professors - 16 people without a degree lecturers - 5 persons, senior researchers - 2 people.
