 "Potential  moscow  universities  -  interests  of  the  city."  Roundtable  "Critical  technologies  in  construction."

Important place in the development of the building complex of the city have always occupied building schools. Training and retraining of engineers and scientists, university science, research and production activities and other activities of universities are closely associated with urban issues. Currently training builders in various construction trades conducted more than a dozen universities, including such as the Moscow State Construction University (MSSU), Moscow Institute of Municipal Economy and Construction (MIKHiS), Moscow State University of Railway Engineers (MGUIPS), Peoples` Friendship University (PFU), Moscow Automobile and Road Institute (MADI), Moscow State University of Environmental Engineering (MSUE), Moscow State Mining University (University), Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys (MISA) and others. In these universities enrolled more than 25 thousand students in 14 construction trades. Annual graduates is more than 3.5 thousand people. Most of them after working in the building complex of Moscow. In a large number of universities working teachers, many of whom are highly qualified specialists in the field of construction.
   Goals and objectives of the Roundtable
   The main goal - to demonstrate real technical, scientific and intellectual potential of universities, finding ways to use it effectively, the formation of scientific research aimed at solving practical problems for the city, targeted training and retraining of specialists for the city economy.
   Total Roundtable on "Critical Technologies in Construction", held under the motto "Building - the formation of the living environment: quality, safety, cost-effectiveness," There were more than 130 posts from 160 participants from 10 universities in Moscow and partner organizations. They give a broad picture of trends departments, individual professionals and creative teams. Degree of completion technologies that are offered in the messages is different, but noted that many of them are made with the participation of organizations and construction companies of the city that speaks to their relevance today. Some of them were presented at the exhibition, which was launched here.

   To make more efficient use of resources and material resources that the city devotes to the development of science and technology, the need to justify the scientific and technological priorities and critical technologies, reflecting the advanced innovation, development and implementation of which should be a decisive factor for economic growth, ensuring the competitiveness of the national scientific technical products and improved quality of life.
   Analysis of the materials showed that the universities in recent years have developed the following priorities and critical technologies:
   1. Technology renovation projects, including residential homes first mass.
   2. Technology software engineering safety, geotechnical reliability of buildings and structures, including development of underground space in the city, the design and construction of engineering structures of the third ring.
   3. Technology of production of competitive building materials, products and designs.
   4. Development and implementation of critical technologies in the housing sector.
   5. Energy saving technologies in construction.
   6. Technology to ensure environmental safety and environmental protection in construction.
   7. Work in the area of ​​quality management expertise, rulemaking, standardization, certification, licensing in construction.
   8. Development of information support of the building complex of the city.
   Long-term results of the university papers presented at this conference, suggest that in the city of Moscow universities focused considerable scientific and technical potential, the implementation of which may contribute to the further development of the building complex of the city.
   However, there is no coordination in educational, scientific and production activity of Moscow universities in the field of construction, universities do not give the desired order for training and retraining of the required number of experts for the needs of urban construction and management, and in recent years has waned experimental and production base of universities, many developing not claimed as to require refinement by using modern techniques and equipment, universities are involved enough in urban science and technology programs, and real-life projects of urban construction and management; poorly used capabilities of universities in scientific fields such construction as rulemaking, standardization, expertise building project management, quality of construction products, environmental protection, lost tradition of attracting university students to design and construction activities, improvement of the city.
   Having heard and discussed the presented papers, reports, development, participants of the Roundtable "Critical technologies in building" consider appropriate:
   1. Acknowledge the work of universities for training engineers who are able to participate in the present level of development of the building complex of the city and address the serious problems of urban development and management in the new economic environment.
   2. In order to more fully realize the scientific and technical potential of universities in the interests of the city and to coordinate their scientific and industrial activity MGSU recommend to take over as coordinator for regular meetings of the Roundtable "Critical technologies in building" with the broad participation of interested universities and representatives of the construction of the complex city ​​study of scientific and technical priorities and critical technologies in urban construction and agriculture.
   3. Apply to the Moscow Government with the proposal to consider and take action:
   establish on the basis MGSU Complex at City Development Directorate prospective research programs in the field of Construction and Urban Development, whose main task is the particular selection and maintenance of the best projects on the construction category, bring them to practical use in the construction industry of the city;
   the development of proposals for the creation based MGSU research and production institute of quality and safety in urban construction and agriculture;
   to attract specialists Moscomarchitecture universities to develop Moscow city building codes (MGSN), Moscow regional recommendations (MPP) and other regulatory and methodological developments in the field of construction, reconstruction and Urban Development;
   support and development initiatives MGSU the formation of an attraction on a regular basis (in the experience of student construction brigades) students of building specialties to design and construction activities on the improvement of the city, the development of a computer database of students and graduates on the construction trades, creating employment on this basis Exchange student for the purpose of justification and optimization needs of construction companies and enterprises staffing specialist builders.
