 Prospects  for  the  development  of  methods  for  improved  concrete  hardening  in  the  XXI  century.  PART  1

  XX-th century contributed enormously to the development of concrete construction technology through intensification and its hardening. Developed the theoretical basis of hardening concrete, concrete works in the cold, a variety of methods to accelerate the curing of concrete in factories and construction sites, new and effective types of cements and concretes, chemical additives for concrete and more. This allowed the construction of general and concrete and concrete in particular, to a new stage - it was quick, less expensive, large-scale, and erected buildings and structures, including highly (see, eg, Fig.) - More durable and reliable.

   High rates of construction of concrete and reinforced concrete, which will remain the primary building material until the end of the XXI century, require finding ways to accelerate the hardening of concrete without reducing its quality and durability.

   In the XXI century the development of stimulation techniques lead to hardening of concrete:

   particularly the emergence of fast binders that allow or even abandon heat treatment of concrete, or significantly reduce its duration. Developed in the last decade, binders such, unfortunately, the road and have a rapid setting time, which makes it difficult operations with concrete mix;

   the emergence of new effective chemical additives to accelerate the curing of binders, which will contribute to a significant reduction in the curing time of concrete at ordinary temperatures to achieve the desired strength. In the last century failed to get good hardening accelerators, so the development of safe and effective supplements of this kind should be intensified;

   concrete with heat treatment mainly using electric energy. Thermal effect on the fresh concrete is the most powerful method to accelerate its hardening and great future methods of electrothermal, for electrical energy allows you to easily manage the process of warming up and automate it.

   Electrothermal among the most environmentally safe methods, and in this respect it can not compete with steam-water-gas heating concrete methods.

   The main method of thermal effects on concrete in factories and construction sites will electrothermal in various versions, the improvement of the methods of this group will be given special attention. Will develop new, more fuel-efficient and durable heating devices, new materials for electrodes, steam and thermal insulation. Particular attention will be paid to the automation of heat treatment, which reduces power consumption.

   Application acceleration methods of hardening concrete will be in factories and construction sites. At the basic principle - heat treatment using electrical energy, heating the concrete modification techniques in factories and construction sites partially coincide, but there will be great modification, the most suitable for the specific conditions of the specific production.
