 PENOIZOL.  IMPLEMENTATION  OF  EXPERIENCE  AND  PROSPECTS.  PART  2

Of particular interest is Penoizol the repair of old buildings and structures with its pouring into the inner cavity walls - because it is not necessary to destroy the brickwork or removing wood paneling. In addition, due to the low density of the material on the additional load bearing structures dilapidated old buildings is extremely small.

   In designs filled penoizol (even if there are cracks in the outer wall), the penetration of moisture into the premises is excluded. And this in spite of his cell opening structure. However, he remains permeable.

   Penoizol is purely domestic material, because technological equipment and all the original components are commercially available in the Russian Federation. All designs are patented or are under examination in Rospatent.

   Already quite well known and well established small production plant penoizol series GZHU-H1, which is required to work an additional source of compressed air. They are successfully used in more than 100 cities of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. These small-sized mobile units can be used as stationary for registration plates and "crumbs", and directly at the construction site for thermal and acoustic insulation of hollow structures.

   To produce, for example, one cubic meter of foam density of 15-16 kg/m3, the polymer resin is required (PRT-C) - 24 kg, a foaming agent (ABSFK) - 0.1 kg and the curing catalyst (phosphoric acid) - 0.4 - 0.45 kg Water - 25-30 liters. "SEC METTEM" delivers for its customers all the necessary components.

   The main component for the production of a polymer resin penoizol brand AMS-T. Today it is available in only one plant in the Moscow region, which naturally makes it difficult to transport to remote regions of the country and increases the cost. METTEM SEC is considering the deployment of resin production in chemical plants to the point of consumption. This would greatly facilitate the task of producing penoizol regions.

   The Center has created a technological line PL-10, providing for the mechanization of the operations, increase productivity and at the same time improving the quality of the material. Are also in the stage of "running" new models of existing facilities that will produce Penoizol with improved features that greatly expand the scope of its application.

   Greater authority than Penoizol wins, the more it appears fakes. I especially want to note that Penoizol (TU2254001-45581572-98 and TU 2254-001-33000727-2000) made only of urea resin UPU-D, which is produced only in the Moscow region on our order and delivered to consumers only METTEM SEC. Urea foams made based on other resins, no relation to Penoizol have. Moreover, the use of other cheaper resins leads to loss of ecological purity of foams and a sharp reduction in terms of their operation.

   In the final stage is another development center - a composite material based on soil - "gruntokompozit" with a density of 900 kg/m3 ... 1500 and a compressive strength of 25 ... 85 kg/cm2. It already belongs to the structural building materials. For the manufacture of "gruntokompozita" builders used binders and water, and most importantly - to 80% of the local soil. The mixture may be prepared in a mixer, and then may be poured into the mold or form, or be pumped directly to the object. In its structure, "gruntokompozit" reminds closed-foam, and as such can be applied in all areas of construction, from pavements to buildings (Figure) and constructions of various purpose.

   Together with the Research Institute for Building Physics and the Institute of Chemical Physics firm "METTEM" developed a standard to determine the service life of heat-insulating building materials. He approved of the Russian Academy of Architecture and Building Sciences (RAASN). We hope that this technique will allow builders still in the design process to predict durability. Endurance tests penoizol (more than 1000 cycles) in this procedure describe it as a very stable material, ready to serve more than one decade.

   Based on research and experience in the application penoizol in construction have been developed and used in the design:
